 Fort Collins’ Own Community & Music Festival!
 
August 10-12, 2012
 
 
Northern Colorado’s largest FREE community and music festival, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest will be  August 10, 11 & 12, 2012 in Historic Downtown Fort Collins (Friday night is a special music kickoff to the weekend!). In its 24th year this FREE weekend event showcases over 250 arts, crafts and food booths, Kids’ Area, a children's carnival, two beer gardens, and eight (8) stages of continuous entertainment highlighting Northern Colorado and the Front Range’s wonderfully talented artists.

                                                          (simulcasts to be announced)
Saturday: 10:00am-7:00pm evening concerts until 10:00pm 
Sunday: 10:00am-7:00pm  

The festival is proud to host Bohemian Nights music lineup providing music all weekend long, in 2012 the lineup will feature over 80 Colorado bands performing on six music stages in Old Town Fort Collins as part of the 23rd annual NewWestFest celebration. Music starts with kick-­off concerts at 5:30p.m. on Friday night, all day Saturday there are music performances beginning at approximately 11:00a.m., and music begins again on Sunday at 11:00a.m., the three day Bohemian Nights music program is free to the public.

Kicking off the weekend's music lineup and starting just before 6pm on Friday Bohemian Nights will host three bands: first, the 2011 International Blues Competition winner, Colorado’s very own, The Lionel Young Band; followed by the alt-rock, iconic, Colorado band, Cracker; and culminating in the cool blues, hip hop and roots sounds of the fabulous G. Love & Special Sauce.  Saturday, enjoy a day of Colorado’s best artists starting at 11:00 AM and ending with a headliner performance from national headliner, husband and wife team Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, combine their incredible talents to wow audiences as the Tedeschi Trucks Band.  Sunday's performances begin around 11:00 AM and culminate at 5:30 PM with Austin Texas’ most famous Texas swing group and nine time Grammy award winners, Asleep at the Wheel!

Beet Street, brings a unique artistic experience to Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest by transforming the Remington and Oak St. parking lot into a shady café-style oasis bursting with the talents of Fort Collins’ arts and culture community.

  • We ask people to leave their pets at home, NO PETS are allowed in the festival. (Only Service Dogs are allowed)
  • Wear sunscreen, shade is a commodity at the festival! 
  • Ride Your Bike- festival is bike friendly & bike parking lot at Remington & Mountain Ave
  • Carpool! Parking is available along the surrounding streets & in both parking garages. 
  • Garages are $5/all day Saturday and FREE on Sunday
  • FREE Water Available throughout the festival
