16th Annual Fort Collins Cemetery Stroll
The 16th Annual Cemetery Stroll will feature the history of education in Larimer County. The event will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Saturday, September 17. Performances will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Advance tickets are on sale at the Fort Collins Senior Center (1200 Raintree Drive) and Grandview Cemetery (1900 W. Mountain) for $6.00 per person, $3.00 for children 12 and under. A limited number of tickets will be sold on the day of the event.
This year's event will honor veterans and brave individuals who have served their country. The Cemetery Stroll is Fort Collins’ oldest and largest living history presentation in which volunteer actors do graveside portrayals of people buried in historic Grandview Cemetery. The theme for this year’s event is “Valuing our Veterans: Service and Sacrifice” and marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, as well as the 70th observation of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The annual Cemetery Stroll is the only historical representation in Fort Collins.
