Aakash Mittal
Hailed as a "talented young player" with "the skills to go far" by Westword (Denver), Aakash Mittal has been making a name for himself at home and abroad. His debut CD "Possible Beginnings" has been acclaimed as "simply brilliant." (Colorado Music Buzz) and "an amazing lineup of all original music." (Scene Magazine) Mittal has also been praised for having "the same inventiveness [as author Peter Lavezzoli]" by Hindustan Times (Kolkata, India). This stems from his approach to composition and improvisation, where Mittal seeks to create music that relates to his diverse background of both American and East Indian heritage, drawing inspiration as much from straight-ahead jazz and the avant-garde as from musical traditions of India and modern grooves.

Driftwood Fire
Driftwood Fire delivers folk-pop at its best; catchy, honest and poetically poignant. Lynn Scharf's vocals are rich and emotive. Charlotte Formichella's guitar and banjo parts are rootsy, inventive and pop-tastically ear-pleasing. Driftwood Fire began performing together in 2007 and took on a legion of friendly fans. Their song Appalachian Hills won First Place in the 2007 International Narrative Song Competition and is also being considered for use on PBS's Road Trip Nation. The Mighty Jivesters
The Mighty Jivesters band is an old school blues machine comprised of Colorado's finest blues harmonica player/singer (AC Blue) and premier blues/ flamenco guitarist (Jasco). The Mighty Jivesters are reminiscent of a time when all amps were tube driven, and people didn't know greasy bacon, biscuits and gravy are bad for you!
Mojomama from Denver Colorado brings their own original hip shakin' style to every show. A fusion of 60's soul and contemporary rock styles, fronted by the amazing Jessica Rowand on lead vocals, definitely a band not to miss. In a world of copy cats, Mojomama dares to be original. Mojomama's music is available at all major Denver area music stores and online at CDBaby.com, I-Tunes, Rhapsody, and more.
Swing Essence / Kevin Karrick
Swing Essence has been a favorite of Colorado dance fans since 2004. Based on the idea that people of all ages love to dance to the classics, the group selects material based on popular demand, choosing those that really swing, groove, or rock at the top of their class. And just as important, the music is arranged specifically for their format. The full dance band includes guitar, keyboards, a great horn section, drums, bass, and seasoned male and female vocalists. The musicians in the group all have jazz roots and professional experience from Broadway shows to cruise ship bands.
